Hey Sarah! Great to meet you last night at the fish fry. I enjoyed talking to you and getting to know you. When did you get out of there? I left for the predator game and made it for the third period. Did you enjoy the seminar today? I saw you there but I had to leave early for baseball for my son. I didn't know you are a nurse. I think I told you that I am a chiropractor in Columbia. I checked out your music and it sounds great. I like the song Jimmy. Call me and let me know when/where you are playing again. My cell# 931-619-0606. I hope you have a great weekend and take your vitamins.
Talk to you soon. Dr.T

I wish you had time for me to do a portrait of you so I could ad you to my collection of
amazing folks I have painted.

OMG! Sarah!! Girl, I was walking into TCC and I saw your picture on the bulletin board...I was like...no way!!
Oh. I am so excited for you I forgot to tell you who I am! LOL This is Denise. It's been years since we have talked, I think since 1996 or 1997. I used to work at First Christian Church with you......
We used to get together and sing songs together, record them on my karaoke machine. Remember?
In fact, I still have those tapes with your songs on them! I go and listen to them from time to time.
We also took voice lessons together for a short while. We were trying to get down the song "Grandpa" by the Judds. I always enjoyed singing with you, I had so much fun!
I was hoping that you would make it to Nashville, and you did! I was reading your bio and I can see you have been busy the past 9 years! Whew. Just reading it made me breathless!
I want to say: I am proud of you. Even though we haven't talked in a long while, I am very glad to see this music career working out for you!!
Also, I love the website, it's awesome! Lovely pictures in the photo section too.
Well, girl, I must finish enrolling for school at TCC. Much has happened to me just this year it is practically mind blowing!
If I told you, I would literally be writing a novel. Which I might have come close to that already. LOL
Anyways, I wish you all the best and I hope we can chat real soon. I left my email address on here, please email if you get a chance! Take care, have fun, and be safe!
Sincerely,
Denise Goforth

Mark & Betty - Good to hear from you! I knew you were going to say that about the song/poem! ha ha. We had to cancel that show (a couple years back) at Sunset. Sorry if it caused you any inconvenience. We did notify the Borders prior.
Jennifer - call me when you get a chance. I'll be on the road but you have my cell and while driving through those Kansas wheat fields I may get bored.
Everyone Else - thanks for writing! Good to hear from you too!

...I meant - Sarahndipity! with a "t". Besides the misspelling I left out half of our e-mail address so I'm correcting that here. We're looking forward to hearing your new material this summer. And Betty is going to ask you AGAIN to explain the meaning of that one song to her. We tried to see you the last time but you didn't show. What happened there - car trouble? See ya.
"Dipity-do-dah, Dipity-day. A wonderful feeling's coming my way..."

I've long wondered how you've been doing, Sarah, since your performance at the Brentwood Borders here in Saint Louis. I see from the photo gallery that you've grown your hair out again. That's how long ago it was, but we haven't forgotten you. Every once in a great while I'll say to Betty, "I wonder what Sarah Popejoy is doing today... and whether she ever made it to Peoria". We're just now making our plans to attend the FolksFestival in Lyons, Colorado this summer to see Kasey Chambers and Patty Griffin -- the latter, thanks to your astute recommendation -- thank you for that tip. The last time I spoke to you, you were about to move to Columbus, if I remember correctly. How's life in your new town?
Well, I see that you are about to embark on a journey of epic proportion! Better eat some Wheaties beforehand. I notice it includes three nights booked in Saint Louis, but it also means we won't be seeing you in Lyons, where I'd hoped we might run into you through sheer Sarahndipidy.
The best of luck to you, Sarah, and your vocal chords.

You have LOTS of charisma! I miss seeing you play since Dayton at the GSL with "the Strandster" and Rhe. I still wonder which Rome you mean in "downtown churches in Rome". Grrrrreat music and look forward to more! I didn't know the "seed" quote was by Hill. If you're reading him, I know you're getting awesome stuff inside.
