Sarah Popejoy: Buy Me

Sarah Popejoy's new live album was recorded at the popular "Radio Cafe", just weeks before this favorite East Nashville hang closed its doors. This intimate recording from Sarah contains 12 recordings including one improv song "Wooden Chair", a beat poem "Beauty and Injustice", and a cover of the Deb Talan (from the Wheepies) song "How Will He Find Me?"

Produced by J.D. Shuff and Sarah Popejoy, Sarah's debut album, entitled Complete Exposure, offers a fresh brew of sound that is tastefully satisfying. Big production and gutsy songwriting decorate the album with 10 originals and a Mary-Chapin Carpenter cover, "Middle Ground". A cool collection of influences, ranging from mainstream rock to folk and country to just a hint of blues, can all be found throughout this painted treasure.
